Geat Horned Owl

This is a "sneek peek" at the newest piece. 18" tall and a wingspan of 3'. I have a few more detail things to finish on it before I take the "good pictures". The thing turned out so wicked awesome I had to post it. Should be done tomorrow.

Hey JenuoneArt,

Thank you very much for your comments. After the Alien Skeleton for Halloween, I got on a roll with this 3D wood puzzle stuff. I would think of something to do, check out pics on the net and BOOM, I would design something, and they have been turning out pretty darn cool. I usually get maybe 20-30 people viewing my work, but that owl got almost 4,000 views. I need to finish painting it now, but as soon as I finish one I go right to the next project in line. Right now I am designing a ram's head, red eyed tree frog, a stegasaurus, a Spinosaurus (from Jurassic Park 3) and a velociraptor from Jurassic Park 2 (don't go into the long grass!). The pictures are pretty low tech, I drap some black material over a couple of saw horses and one of my girls hold up the back, natural sun for the lighting. Talk to you later, Don
