Mew Stone Carving

Mew Stone Carving  11" X 10"

This stone carving is the product of an ancient civilization that built a shrine to Mew.  It depicts the mythical and legendary Pokémon as a cat like creature.  It is believed that Mew is very curious, can levitate, create force fields and giggles a lot.  As my girls were growing up they watched a lot of Pokémon and few in love with the Mew movie.  Ever since I saw this stone carving in the movie I always wanted to reproduce it, well now I have.  The hardest part of the whole design was figuring out what the background pictographs are that surround Mew.  I think I will be doing another and play with the coloring a little bit.
