Pink Moon 13" Diameter
This is a baby shower gift for my niece. It is a remake of my "Man in the Moon" piece I did several years ago. Since the baby is a girl, I painted in pink highlights on the moon. I think it turned out pretty cute. I was nice to get back to something simple after all the 3D work I have been doing lately. Made from a pine board with 1/4" and 1/8" shims behind certain pieces to give it a 3D effect.
